Hi bloggers! I signed up for the creative writing group in the BlogX Teams. When we had done our advert for the production, we got to do free writing. I decided to write a short story. Here's my writing!

Bio-Poem

In class we made a Bio-Poem. That is a poem that describes ourselves in a particular order. Bio-Poems include things like your worst fear and what you give to people. Here is a slideshow I made about my Bio-Poem

Word Art

In class we made origami boxes for our homework a while back. We had to take the boxes to school and glue them onto a piece of paper. We got given a random name  and had to write positive things about that person and then put them in their box. When we had enough positive things, we made a word cloud with word art. Here is mine.

Knights & Ladies

On Wednesday we had Mrs Meikle teaching our class. She read us a book about knights and ladies, and then we had to make a presentation about knights and ladies. We had to do some research on knights, jousting and ladies. Here is my slideshow.

Athletics Video

In room 6 we made videos about a chosen activity in athletics. My group chose long jump. In the video we had to give pointers on what to do and not to do. Here is the slideshow 

My Pet Day Information Report

 At our school every year we have a pet day and have to do a pet day project. This year room 6 weren't allowed to just slap together a poster. We had to put our information reports into WeVideo format. For the information report we had to talk about all animals of that kind, not just our pets. We had to use photos of our pets as visuals. Next time I think I will add more photos. Here is my video:

In room, we have been learning to write a persuasive argument. To do this we used O.R.E.O which means Opinion, Reason, Evidence, Opinion. We had to write a persuasive argument on either we should keep our headphones or we should get rid of them. Here is a link to my writing.
